We may be a small nonprofit, but small nonprofits can make a BIG impact when we stay connected to our communities and turn compassion into action.

Comfort at Home Installation Day!🏡💚 A little comfort can make a BIG difference.

Through Future Seed’s NeighborLift: Comfort at Home initiative, we helped local residents beat the Louisiana heat with new window A/C units and installation—all at no cost to the households served.

This is what community looks like: seeing a need, showing up, and making a difference.

📣 CALLING FARMERS, MAKERS & LOCAL VENDORS! 🌱🛍️
We’re looking to connect with local vendors interested in participating in an upcoming community farmers market experience!

We want to hear from:
🥬 Farmers & Growers – fresh produce, herbs, plants and more
🍯 Food Producers – honey, jams, jellies, baked goods, seasonings and other locally made favorites
🎨 Artisans & Makers – handmade goods, art, jewelry, candles, soaps and unique creations
🧶 Crafters – crochet, sewing, woodworking, home décor and more
🌻 Garden & Wellness Vendors – plants, natural products and healthy-living goods
🚚 Food Vendors – local food businesses and mobile vendors

Our goal is simple: SHOP LOCAL. EAT FRESH. CONNECT WITH COMMUNITY.

🌱🍅 BAKER’S FRESH MARKET IS BACK! 🍅🌱 Mark your calendars and come out to Baker’s Fresh Market on Saturday, August 29, from 11 AM–2 PM at the City of Baker School Board Office!

Come shop fresh and support our community with fresh fruits and vegetables, local honey, plants and more. 🥬🍯🌿

This is about more than shopping, it’s about supporting local growers, making fresh food more accessible, and bringing our community together.

Tonight, Future Seed stopped by Bingo Night at the Baker Branch Library, a fun community event that brought families and neighbors together for a little wholesome fun. 🎉

No program. No presentation. No agenda from us. We simply wanted to show up, support a great community partner, and enjoy the evening. 🌱🤝
And we had a GREAT time!

There was plenty of laughter, a little friendly competition, and apparently showing up has its rewards because our Executive Director, Dr. Toni Jackson, even managed to win a round of BINGO! 😂🏆

We love seeing community spaces used to bring people together in simple, meaningful ways like this.

Thank you to the Baker Branch Library for creating a fun evening for the community. 💚
