🥔If you LOVE potatoes, you're in luck!🥔

A huge THANK YOU to Rohner Farms for donating a truckload of potatoes to share with our community. This is the second year they have generously donated!

Come by the Sheriff's Office TOMORROW (October 15th, 2pm) and take some potatoes home! Bring your own boxes, bags or containers and take what you can use.

📅 When: October 15th, 2pm
📍 Location: 3410 K Street, Baker City (dirt parking lot east of the building)
📦 What to bring: Your own boxes and bags
🥔 Cost: These are FREE to the public!

🎉Come Celebrate Laura’s Retirement! 🎉

After 13 years of dedication and commitment to our clients and Step Forward Activities, we’re excited to celebrate Laura as she begins this new chapter! 💚

📍 Main Office | 3710 10th St., Baker City, OR

🍔 Food will be provided! We’ll be serving hamburgers, hotdogs, and classic sides including chips, macaroni salad, potato salad, and more.

Come join us in celebrating Laura, sharing some good food, and giving her the send-off she deserves! 💐✨

You may have noticed our new food pantry on 10th Street and wondered what it’s all about!

If you don’t know, let us tell you! 😊

Step Forward Activities recently added this small community food pantry to provide a little extra support to our neighbors. It’s here and ready to go for our community. We’ve just restocked it and want to make sure people know it’s available!

If you or someone you know could use a little extra food support, please stop by and take what you need.

This food cupboard is just one of the ways Step Forward Activities is working to support our local community.

Step Forward Activities, Inc. (SFA) is a local nonprofit that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through residential services, day programs, and other community-based supports.

Our condolences to all of David's family and to all the people who knew him and cared for him. He will be dearly missed.

David was born on August 30th, 1968 and passed away on July 11th, 2026 at the age of 57
