Baker Relief Nursery

Baker Relief Nursery Baker Relief Nursery believes in nurturing rural children and families to be safe and successful Open by appointment. These are provided on a basis of need.

Key Supports/Services:

Classroom Services-
Our infant/toddler therapeutic classroom is for small groups of same age children to attend twice a week. The classroom is also used to provide respite for parents who need a break for a few hours. Home Visits-
Teachers meet with families in their homes at least once each month. They bring activities and ideas to help parents teach and guide their child.

This is also a time for parents and teachers to address any concerns, ask questions, and to share information. Parent Education-
We provide regular parenting classes which give participants the opportunity to connect with other parents. The classes are designed to share information and facilitate problem solving with support from peers. Additional Services:

Clothing and Diaper Closet: Families have access to new and gently used clothing as well as the diapers they need as their children grow. Food Bank: Baker Relief Nursery has non-perishable food items for clients participating in our programs, to assist with the food insecurity that many of our clients face. Transportation: Trolley tokens and gas vouchers are available to parents participating in our programs.

Welcome Anne Morrison!

Please join us in welcoming Anne Morrison to the Baker Relief Nursery Board of Directors! Come visit our booth at Community Night Out this evening, Tuesday August 4th at Geiser Pollman Park, starting at 5:00 pm! There’s FREE food and amazing community partners with lots of items to share out to families and children. We will be raffling off this adorable Slumberkins Bigfoot Social Kit 🤎 Here’s the details on this fun, family activity:

Join Bigfoot for a social play experience to learn how self-esteem and positive friendships can help us be brave and strong. “Bigfoot Asks to Play” book begins the adventure, while activity cards, wooden creatures, and clubhouse playset help bring the fun to life.

The Slumberkins Kinspiration Kits are a fun and immersive way to bring the proven benefits of therapeutic play into your home. Intentionally designed by therapists and educators, our collection of Kinspiration Kits empower children to build confidence, regulate emotions, and make important connections.

Play is not only fun for children—it’s how they learn! Dive into a world of inspired learning alongside your favorite Slumberkins creatures. Some activities encourage children to explore independently. Others are meant for you and your child to do together. However you decide to play, we hope you and your child find joy in each carefully crafted experience. Suitable for ages 3+.
