Charles Clark Jr. '86
Charles was a standout on the Firebirds football team which resulted in him receiving an athletic scholarship to Ohio University. After graduating from OU, Charles was signed to the New England Patriots practice squad where he stayed from 1990-1992. Following an injury, he embarked on a distinguished 22-year career in law enforcement.
Today, Coach "Po Po" Clark is entering his second season as head coach of the Las Vegas Force, leading the team to back-to-back playoff appearances and currently preparing for a second-round playoff run as they pursue a spot in July's Arena Sun Bowl and a 2026 championship season.
Beyond the football field, Charles is also a best-selling crime fiction author, known for the My Brother's Shield Series.
