This marked the SECOND decisive event for athletes battling for a spot on the USA Downhill Team. The gravity-fueled journey has hit its conclusion! 💪

Check out the USA’s Top 3 Men’s Street Luge athletes who dominated Soldiers of Downhill, reaching speeds of 70 mph racing side-by-side:

This high-speed showdown on the Historic Maryhill Loops Road was the FIRST of two must-attend events for athletes vying for a spot on the USA Downhill Team.

Get ready to shred! The USA Downhill Skateboarding Association is thrilled to announce the 2025 USA Team Qualifiers for Men’s and Women’s Stand-Up Skateboarding and Street Luge! 🇺🇸

📍 Events:
• The Tour De Maryhill (Washington) 8/30-9/1
• Soldiers of Downhill (Ohio) 10/3-10/5
📋 Details:
• Athletes must compete in both races to be eligible for the USA Team.
• Points will be earned at each event, tallied, and used to rank athletes.
• Final rankings will determine the 2026 USA Team selections for both disciplines.

Join Our Team and Help Shape the Future of Downhill Skateboarding!

The USA Downhill Skateboarding Association is forming subcommittees to strengthen our organization and further our mission of supporting athletes, hosting events, and growing the sport. We’re looking for passionate individuals to join as subcommittee members and help us take things to the next level!
Whether you’re an athlete, supporter, or just love the sport, there’s a role for you.

Here are the committees you can be a part of:

• Events and Competitions Committee: Plan and oversee races and national championships.

• Athlete Development and Support Committee: Support athletes with training programs, resources, and wellness initiatives.

• Marketing and Sponsorship Committee: Grow the sport’s visibility and build partnerships.

• Fundraising and Grant Writing Committee: Secure funding to support our mission.

• Safety and Compliance Committee: Ensure safety standards and regulations are upheld.

• Governance & Ethics Committee
Maintains the integrity of the association by overseeing governance, compliance, and ethical standards.

• Membership and Community Engagement Committee: Recruit members and build a strong community.

Planning for the 2025 season is at hand.

USADSA is hosting an Online DH Event Organizers Meeting on Tuesday, January 21st at 3pm PST.

The purpose of this meeting is to have a round table discussion with event organizers who would like to collaborate with USADSA in creating the National Championship tour.

In an effort to help in promoting Gravity Sports in the
USA, we would like to hear the concerns that EO’s may have, listen to what the challenges are and get feedback as to what the current needs of the community are, so that we can help to facilitate and support continued growth within the community.

This meeting is for EO’s that have and currently do host Permitted, Insured, Closed Road Events ONLY. If you are interested in hosting an event that meets these guidelines and want to learn more about the process, you may also attend the meeting.

If you would like to attend, please send a DM with your email address in order to receive the meeting link.

We will be sending direct invites to those Organizers that we know and have worked with in the past.
