Bonnie Hall🕯️

A dedicated HR professional with the Ohio Department of Transportation, Bonnie has been married for 32 years and is a proud mother of two sons and Mimi to two grandchildren. She grew up in the Greenfield area and spent many cherished family moments in Bainbridge. 👑 A 1992 FFL Queen she enjoys making memories and spending quality time with family and friends.

We are so excited to welcome Bonnie to this year’s historic ghost walk! Be sure and join Bonnie as she guides her group throughout the village on Saturday, October 24th, 2026 @ 6:00 pm - The Paxton Theatre!

The 2026 Bainbridge Legends of the Past Historic Ghost Walk Cast & Crew Spotlight: Stephanie & Dick McDonald🕯️

Stephanie & Dick McDonald are the parents of three, and have six grandchildren. Stephanie grew up in Bainbridge and graduated from Ohio University. She has taught in four states, including an international school in Chiang Mai, Thailand. After moving back to the area, She is happy to be involved in the community & especially loves seeing the success of former students. She is also pursuing her interest in writing. Stephanie has taken creative writing courses through the University of Wisconsin, graduated from the Institute of Children’s Literature, and is a member of SCBWI. She is also an active member of the Southern Ohio Writers’ Collaborative. She has four short stories published in their anthologies.

The event is Saturday, October 24th, 2026. Doors open to the Paxton Theatre beginning at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $15/ Adult - $8/ 12 & under. 634 Coffee+Cafe will also have extended hours that evening. ☕️

Stacia Minney🕯️

A lifelong resident of Bainbridge, Stacia is a graduate of Paint Valley High School and Ohio University. She currently is employed at Pike Christian Academy and is a member at Storms Chapel. She believes that the village of Bainbridge is a beautiful place to live and that sharing the memories of the past is a great way of remembering those from this community. Meet Your 2026 Floating Ghost:👻

Susan Horn: as The Mourning Lady

By day, Susan is a massage therapist, small-business owner, intuitive healer, and keeper of stories. Through Waverly Massage & Wellness and Out of the Woods Healing, she spends her days exploring the places where the body, emotions, spirit, and human stories intersect.

But for the Bainbridge Ghost Walk, Susan steps out of the present and into the mourning clothes of another era.

From the 1860s through the 1890s, mourning was more than grief—it was a language. There were rules for how you dressed, how long you mourned, what you kept, and how you remembered those who had crossed over.

Susan has always been drawn to old places, forgotten stories, and the strange feeling that sometimes lingers long after everyone has gone home. She believes history isn’t simply something we read about—it is something we can still feel.

So when you see the woman in black along the Ghost Walk, don’t be too quick to pass her by.

She may have a story to tell.

And if you listen closely enough… you may discover that some stories refuse to stay buried.

Ethel Davis🕯️

This Greenfield native called Bainbridge home following her marriage to John “Messup” Davis in 1979. Having spent numerous years in the workforce, babysitting and providing elder care, Ethel can now be found volunteering throughout the community, quilting with the gals, crafting at the library, and spending time with her great grandson. Two aspects of her personality: her tendency to teasingly give people a hard time, and her exceptional ability to give warm, comforting hugs! We are excited to have her back for another year as an historic event guide!

Silas Pulliam🕯️

Silas is the 8th generation of his family to call Bainbridge “home”. He grew up in one of Bainbridge’s oldest homes on the farm that has been owned by his family for over 100 years.

Passionate about Bainbridge and the beautiful historic homes in the area, Silas pursued a career in real estate after graduating from Paint Valley and obtaining his degrees in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Rio Grande. He works as an agent with Stanley & Son Auctioneers & REALTORs where he specializes in selling farms and historic homes.

Silas is very active in the community. He is a member of the Bainbridge United Methodist Church, Paint Valley Lion’s Club, Fall Festival of Leaves Committee, Bainbridge Merchants (Ross County Fair Livestock Sales), and the Sons of the American Legion Post 14. He is also the volunteer in charge of the planting and upkeep of the beautiful flower pots along Main Street.

In his free time, you can find Silas working at the Paxton Restaurant, spending time with his family, frequenting the Bainbridge Produce Auction, and tending to the livestock and garden on his family’s farm.

The Bainbridge Legends of the Past Historic Ghost Walk will be held on Saturday, October 24th, 2026 @ 6:00 pm. The walk starts from the Paxton Theatre and will journey throughout homes and businesses throughout Bainbridge. Seating is limited!

Kim Strausbaugh Baker🕯️

Librarian, mom, and grandma… A public servant of the community, Kim loves working for the Chillicothe-Ross County Public Library - Paxton Branch and talking with everyone that comes in each day. She always welcomes patrons with a warm, friendly smile and is eager to help in any way. She is a graduate of Paint Valley High School and holds a Bachelor and Master Degree in Business, and has lived in Bainbridge for most of her life. Some of her favorite hobbies are reading, gardening, and canning. Her favorite past time is spending time with family and friends, especially her kids and grandkids.

Your 2026 Floating Ghost👻

Beau Fairley:🚂

Beau Fairley is a 9 year old fourth grader at Paint Valley Elementary, and this will be his second year taking part in the Bainbridge Ghost Walk! When he’s not acting in the ghost walk, you can find him playing football, basketball, or baseball in Paint Valley’s youth sports leagues, or raising and showing chickens as a member of 4-H.

Beau is outgoing, full of personality, and loves meeting and interacting with people. Beau is excited to be back for another year of spooky fun as a floating ghost.

Klay Park:

The 2026 Bainbridge Legends of the Past Historic Ghost Walk is excited to have Klay Park as one of our hilarious floating ghost this year! Klay is a lifelong Pike County resident and is a 2011 graduate from Western High School! He also attended college at Shawnee State University as well as Southern State Community College. Klay is married to Jordan Tackett who is a lifelong “Bainbridgian” & father of Kynlee Marie. Here’s a fun fact for all of you, Klay is the Son-in-law to our prestigious Bainbridge Mayor Matt Conley. He is also involved with the worship team as a musician at Acts Believe Church in Chillicothe. In his spare time, he enjoys disc golf at Paint Creek State Park!

🎃Ben Ward:

Ben and his wife Jennifer have two children Lily & Lincoln and is also the son of Bob and Becky Ward. A Paint Valley graduate, Ben went on to graduate from Shawnee State University in 2013. He presently works as a physical therapist in Waverly at Adena Physical Therapy. Ben attends ACTS Believe Church and plays drums for Believe Worship. In his spare time, he enjoys family activities, golf, and fishing. We are excited to have Ben be a part of this year’s historic ghost walk.
