Veterans Weekend is here!! Come on over to Lake Seminole Friday evening and/or Saturday afternoon to honor our Veterans. Good food, great music and fun times, while helping us raise funds to retro fit our wheelchair accessible pontoon boat.

CALLING ALL VETERANS, ACTIVE-DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS, GUARDSMEN AND RESERVISTS!

You are invited to FAMU's Annual Military Appreciation Game where the FAMU Rattlers will take on the Jackson State Tigers on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 7 p.m. Prior to kickoff we will host a tailgate for our military veterans and active-duty service members in attendance right next to the CASS Building (former Gibbs Hall lawn) from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. A free game ticket is also available for the first 100 veterans, active-duty service members, guardsmen or reservists to RSVP (sorry, we can only provide a free ticket to the veteran, active-duty service member, guardsman or reservist)! To claim your ticket go to the link below and complete the survey by Friday, October 31 at 5 p.m. (the link will close once we receive 100 RSVPs). Ticket will be distributed at the tailgate but only to those that reserve a ticket. Day two at the American Legion national convention. We experienced a brief lull in the activity, providing an opportunity for a quick photo. We are forging meaningful connections. A substantial amount of information is being shared regarding Operation At Ease.

Last week we had multiple Eco Rover (track wheel chairs) trips conducted by SportsAbility Alliance on the new 8 miles of trails on site here At Ease Campground & Marina. An awesome time was had by all, such an amazing opportunity for those with mobility issues!

They will be conducting similiar adventues FREE for Veterans at the beach March 25th & 26th… full details below or visit their website!
