📣It’s official...LongHorn Steakhouse is OPEN in Bainbridge!

We’re excited to welcome LongHorn Steakhouse to Bainbridge and to the Chamber! Managing Partner Brian Tanner and his team made it official today with a ribbon cutting, and we’re so glad to have them here in our community.

If you haven’t stopped by yet, now’s the time to check them out for a good steak and all your LongHorn favorites. We love seeing our town continue to grow and are always happy to welcome new businesses to Bainbridge!

Thank you to the Bainbridge High School Band for adding even more excitement to the day!

With Hurricane Isaias approaching our area, residents are urged to take action now to secure their properties and prepare for potential high winds and heavy rainfall. Don't wait until conditions worsen to take these important precautions!

Before the storm arrives, please take a moment to:
-Secure trash cans: Move trash and recycling carts away from the road and into a secure location to prevent them from blowing into streets or becoming hazards.
-Tie down outdoor equipment: Secure trampolines, grills, patio furniture, and other outdoor items that could be moved by strong winds.
-Clear drainage areas: Remove leaves, debris, and other obstructions from drainage areas on your property to help prevent localized flooding.
-Check your yard: Secure or bring inside loose decorations, toys, and other items that could become airborne.
-Prepare for possible power outages: Charge electronic devices, gather flashlights, and keep essential supplies readily available.
-Stay informed: Monitor local weather reports and follow Decatur County EMA for emergency alerts and updates.

Taking these precautions now can help reduce property damage, keep roadways clear, and protect our neighbors and City crews during and after the storm.

Bainbridge is offering free sand at 3 locations ahead of Isaias, while clearing storm drains and lowering retention ponds to prevent flooding.

Happy National 4-H Week! 🍀

We’re thankful for our local 4-H friends who stopped by the Chamber with a sweet treat for us! We appreciate all the ways they support our community and Chamber throughout the year. They help us set up our Southwest Georgia Tinsel Trail trees, lend a hand at our annual Ag Appreciation Luncheon, and are always willing to bring out their fun petting zoo for community events.

Thank you for all you do and for the difference you make in Decatur County. We appreciate you! 💚
