Enjoy a night out while your K-4th grade children have a fun night of crafts, dancing, movies, and dinner with 8/9th grade Girl Scout Troop 43981 and their adult leaders on Oct 4th at Yeomalt Cabin from 5:30-8:00. Parks and Rec are looking for volunteers for the HAUNTED HAYRIDE! In the past girls have helped direct crowds, danced as scarecrows during the ride, helped with cars, and much more!

Discovery Flight with Avian Flight Center 2024
Future aviators, this is your opportunity to truly take to the skies! Girl Scouts of Western Washington is thrilled to partner again this year with Avian Flight Center for this very special aviation event. You will be paired with a certified flight instructor (CFI), who will walk you through the how's and whys of a preflight check-like testing the ailerons, checking the fuel, and much more-before hopping into the cockpit, taking the yoke, and controlling the aircraft! You'll also hear from the crew in the airframe and engine shops on the ground to see what goes into keeping aircraft safe and airworthy.
