Members of the Baileys Harbor Women's Club are looking forward to our annual Appreciation Picnic on August 27th to celebrate our work and success of the Strawberry Fest on July 4. Husbands and guests join club members for this fun event at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall. With members bringing a dish to pass, it's a favorite gathering we enjoy every August. Thanks to all who helped make our Strawberry Fest event a success again this year. The Strawberry Fest is our major fundraiser for our Scholarship fund.

Our program at the July meeting today was about the Ridges Sanctuary in Baileys Harbor. The presenter was Anna Foster, Director of Operations. She did an excellent explanation of their mission and history. The Ridges have developed a wide range of opportunities for education, and research of this natural habitat. Thank you Anna for joining us today!

Lurana Webster took this photo just before the doors were opened for the 2026 Strawberry Fest to benefit the Baileys Harbor Women's Club fund. Thanks to this first crew who did an awesome job serving the first wave of customers! The second crew came in and took over and continued serving. Thanks to the ladies who went around outside on bead patrol getting donations and giving away bead necklaces. Thanks also, to family and friends who showed up to help with serving. We appreciate all who help to share in the work and made the event a great success again this year. Huge thanks to our families for their assistance with this annual event.
Special thanks to our fearless leader, Joanne, and her husband, Wayne, for your leadership and guidance with the event!
