GATHERING HYMN “Lord, Reign In Me”
Over all the earth, you reign on high; Every mountain stream, every sunset sky;
But my one request, Lord, my only aim, Is that You’d reign in me again. (chorus)
Chorus: Lord reign in me; reign in Your power
Over all my dreams, in my darkest hour,
You are the Lord of all I am, So won’t You reign in me again.
Over every thought, over every word,
May my life reflect the beauty of my Lord;
‘Cause You mean more to me than any earthly thing,
So won’t You reign in me again. (chorus 2x)
TAG: Won’’t you reign in me again, won’t you reign in me again.

CONFESSION & FORGIVENESS
Blessed be the Holy Trinity, one God, whose compassion endures forever.Amen.
Let us confess our sin to God.
(Silence for reflection & self-examination)
Compassionate God,
We confess to you all our sins. Our burden is heavy, and we cannot free ourselves. In your mercy, call us back to you. Your yoke is easy and your burden is light. Restore us to dwell in your peace. In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.
Jesus says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” In the name of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, your sins are forgiven. Rest in God’s love. Amen.
GREETING The Lord be with you. And also with you.
PRAYER SONG “Lord, I Lift Your Name On High” (1x-prayer-1x)
Lord, I lift Your name on high, Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I’m so glad You’re in my life, I’m so glad You came to save us.
Chorus: You came from heaven to earth to show the way,
From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay;
From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

SONG OF FAITH “Come With Me Into The Fields”
The fields are high and summer’s days are few; green fields have turned to gold.
The time is here for the harvesting, for gathering home into barns. (refrain)
Refrain: The harvest is plenty; laborers are few. Come with me into the fields.
Your arms may grow weary; your shoes will wear thin. Come with me into the fields.
The seeds were sown by other hands than yours; nurtured and cared for they grew.
But those who have sown will not harvest them; the reaping will not be their care. (refrain)
Tag: Come with me into the fields.

CONFESSION OF FAITH – THE APOSTLES CREED
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power Of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen

PRAYERS Lord, in your mercy. Hear our prayer.
THE WORDS OF INSTITUTION/THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, the glory, forever and ever. Amen
COMMUNION “Will You Come And Follow Me”
“Will you come and follow me if I but call your name?
Will you go where you don’t know and never be the same?
Will you let My love be shown, will you let My name be known,
Will you let My life be grown in you and you in Me?”
“Will you leave yourself behind if I but call your name?
Will you care for cruel and kind and never be the same?
Will you risk the hostile stare, should your life attract or scare?
Will you let Me answer pray’r in you and you in Me?”
“Will you let the blinded see if I but call your name?
Will you set the prisoners free and never be the same?
Will you kiss the l***r clean, and do such as this unseen,
And admit to what I mean in you and you in Me?”
“Will you love the you you hide if I but call your name?
Will you quell the fear inside and never be the same?
Will you use the faith you’ve found to reshape the world around,
Through My sight and touch and sound in you and you in Me?”
Lord, Your summons echoes true when you but call my name.
Let me turn and follow You and never be the same.
In Your company I’ll go where Your love and footsteps show.
Thus I’ll move and live and grow in You and you in me.

“What A Friend We Have In Jesus” #223
“Sweet, Sweet Spirit”
There’s a sweet, sweet spirit in this place, and I know that it’s the spirit of the Lord.
There are sweet expressions on each face, and I know they feel the presence of the Lord.
Chorus: Sweet Holy Spirit, sweet heavenly Dove, Stay right here with us,
Filling us with your love. And for these blessings, we lift our hearts in praise.
Without a doubt we’ll know, that we have been revived
When we shall leave this place.

BLESSING Pastor Scharrig
SENDING HYMN “Go Light Your World”
There is a candle in ev’ry soul, some brightly burning, some dark and cold.
There is a Spirit who brings a fire, ignites a candle and makes His home.
So, carry your candle, run to the darkness,
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn.
Hold out your candle for all to see it,
Take your candle and go light your world.
Take your candle and go light your world.
Frustrated brother, see how he’s tried to Light his own candle some other way.
See now your sister, She’s been robbed and lied to, still holds a candle without a flame.
So, carry your candle, run to the darkness,
Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn.
Hold out your candle for all to see it,
Take your candle and go light your world.
Take your candle and go light your world.
We are a family whose hearts are blazing, So let’s raise our candles and light up the sky,
Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus: make us a beacon in darkest time.
So, carry your candle, run to the darkness,
Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor.
Hold out your candle for all to see it,
Take your candle and go light your world.
Carry your candle, run to the darkness,
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn.
Hold out your candle for all to see it,
Take your candle and go light your world.
Take your candle and go light your world.
