3:15 am I let her out, knowing it was going to rain around 6:00. A little after 5:00 the first thunder clap woke me and she was more than ready to come in. I went back to bed, but her loud purring (very rare)with head bumping meant sleep was over. Gave her breakfast. Rain had stopped but more was expected. She became rather annoying, going from door to door (there are four here). Finally let her out knowing where she was likely to go to stay dry. Soon heavy pouring rain. My Fitbit indicated I put on more than 500 steps going door to door over the next half hour. No cat. Rain finally stopped. Found her in her camp chair under the carport. Dry; not even slightly damp. Calmly washing her ear here on the recliner. Bottom line, my Fitbit was happy.
