Hello Friends of SME!

We are hosting our scholarship fundraising golf invitational and auction in a couple of weeks on Saturday, September 27th! This event is our main form of fundraising to be able to provide scholarships to high school and college students with an interest in a mining-related field.

This year, we are doing something a little different with a lunch-time BBQ cook-off, open to all who want to participate! Entries are due at 12:30PM for voting. If interested, please sign up here:

The auction is open to the public, and registration begins at 3:30PM. The auction will kick off promptly at 5:00PM, after dinner has been served.

Past auction items have included copper splashes, mining equipment models, coolers, outdoor cooking equipment, and more!
