YOU GUYS!! Tomorrow is the day! Sunday Funday Co****le Tournament & More!

The Griffin's Going Places fundraiser has been in the working and growing since June and it is all coming together!

We've got so much planned to make it a great day and we can't wait to not only reach our goal but to also thank EVERYONE who has been involved and has helped make this event and fundraiser both possible and a successful thus far!

Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

Great article Fort Dodge Messenger! Did just want to add a little more about the fundraising so far!

To date we have raised just over $45,000.
We kicked off our fundraising campaign in June with our "Tire Sale" on our website. The "sale" consists of 350 tires that could be "purchased" for the equivalent dollar amount. So tire number 1 was $1, tire 2 was $2, etc. on thru $350. When all the tires are funded, that would equal just over $62,000.
The "Tire sale" is ongoing and can be found at www.griffinsgoingplaces.com.

Then the lemonade stands started. There were lemonade stands all over every Saturday and Sunday. The Dariette really kicked things off with this when they held one, then Ardys Mae matched the dollars raised and Tjaden Electric chipped in too. That day alone was just over $7000.
We then went to local businesses and asked for thier sponsorship of our Co****le Tournament. Some businesses even initiated thier own sponsorship. Like Mark's Auto Mart, for the month of August they contributed $100 for every car sold.
Justin and Zac Wallace invited us to come out to the motocross races they had been organizing out at the Sports Park Raceway. We did a 50/50 raffle there as well as a lemonade stand.
The community as a whole has been unbelievable throughout this whole effort, from monetary donations to auction items for the live and silent auction on Sunday.
