Huron County Homeless Solutions provides services, including- Rent/Mortgage arrearage; Property Tax arrearage; Utility assistance, Motel vouchers; Security Deposit/First Month's rent in addition to referrals and recommendations for help to partnership agencies.
Huron County Homeless Solutions has been providing services to the community for over 1 years as a workgroup of the Huron County Community Collaborative. Huron County Homeless Solutions is a broad based coalition of agencies providing housing support and resources to homeless individuals and families as well as those at risk for becoming homeless. Huron County Homeless Solutions along with community partners serves a diverse population of individuals and families in the Greater Thumb Area. Funding for Huron County Homeless Solutions comes from private donations, fundraising activities, and grants. Individuals who would like to become a "Friend of the Homeless" can join this exclusive group with an annual membership of $25.00. Membership will provide you with a quarterly newsletter to update you on how your support makes a difference in our communities AND an invitation to our Annual Meeting and two (2) tickets to our Fall Wine Tasting Fundraiser.
