Our friends over at Doc Tom’s Pet Co. are collecting donations for the Thumb Animal Shelter!
They are also holding an adoption event on September 13th!!

From now until September 30th help us fill our donation barrel with items for the Thumb Animal Shelter!

The Forster family and Friends of Thumb Animal Shelter would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the incredible support shown at this year’s 2025 Ron Forster Memorial Dog Walk. The day could not have been more meaningful, and it was made possible by the generosity and kindness of our community.

We are sincerely thankful to our sponsors for their continued support, to those who donated silent auction items, and to all who participated by bidding on them. The turnout for the vaccination clinic was outstanding and thank you to Caseville Small Animal Clinic for taking time out of their busy schedule to do this event, and it was wonderful to see so many owners and their dogs take on the agility course together! (Thank you to Denise Simmons and family!!)
To top it all off, we were blessed with beautiful weather, which made the day even more enjoyable.

We are also truly grateful to Elkton Autumn FEST for allowing us to hold our event during the festival year after year!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing such generosity and support towards the Thumb Animal Shelter.

TODAY IS THE DAY!! 🩵🐾
2025 Ron Forster Memorial Dog Walk

Just a reminder that you do not need to register to walk, just show up and join us! We will be set up at PAVILLON #1 Ackerman Park starting 4:30PM! The walk will take place at 6:00PM and we will complete 2 laps around the Elkton Community Walking Path!

•SILENT AUCTION items will be out and ready for bidding starting at 4:30 PM and we will announce the winners 30 MINUTES after the walk is completed!
*You do not have to be present to win, you will receive a text if you are a winner of an item*

•Our famous GRAB BAGS will be available for purchase on a first come, first serve basis!
We loaded 64 bags with misc. dog items & they will be available for a $10 donation/bag.

•Caseville Animal Clinic will be set up for a dog vaccination clinic. They will be able to vaccinate for: Rabies, Distemper, Distemper+Parvo & Bordetella….$20/shot. *CASH only Please!*

•An Agility Course with Denise & Carly Simmons will be set up from 5pm - 8pm and for a $5 donation to the Thumb Animal Shelter, you can walk your dog through this *on leash* demo course!!!

•Any remaining T-shirts will be available for purchase as well, if you still haven’t got one!

Our WALK will start promptly at 6pm!!
Bandannas will be available for ALL dogs…you’ll receive one once you arrive!

As always ALL THE PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT GO DIRECTLY TO THE Thumb Animal Shelter
We cannot wait to see everyone TONIGHT!!!
