The Ron & Deen Forster Family wants to thank each and every one of you that took the time out of your evening to come out to the Ron Forster Memorial Dog Walk! It was a wonderful evening seeing so many people supporting the Thumb Animal Shelter. 30 years is a special milestone especially for a family owned business in a small community and we cannot thank you all enough!
We know Grandpa Ron was there in spirit and made sure the rain missed us 💙🐾

Catch us all today in the Elkton Autumn FEST parade! We’ll be handing out some extra event t-shirts to
some lucky people along the route!

Today’s the DAY!!
2026 Ron Forster Memorial Dog Walk during Elkton Autumn FEST!
We will be set up in PAVILLION #1 in Ackerman Park - Elkton, starting at 4:30PM!

•Silent Auction: over 80 items and gift certificates to bid on!

•Grab Bags: First come, First Serve - 57 available! What will you get in your bag?!?!

•Vaccination Clinic: Sponsored by Caseville Small Animal Clinic. Please bring proof of prior vaccinations!

•Agility Course: $5 donation - sponsored by Denise Simmons! Let your dog have some fun!

And of course we will have event T-Shirts available if you didn’t get one yet!

All of this leads up to our walk on the Elkton Community Walking Path at 6:00PM! We will complete 2 laps around the Elkton Community Walking Path!

Silent Auction closes at 6:45PM! Winners will be announced at the pavilion and if you are not present, we will contact you if you win!!

We cannot wait to see the turnout out as we celebrate 30 YEARS OF THE Thumb Animal Shelter!!

Join us for the 2026 Ron Forster Memorial Dog Walk this Friday during Elkton Autumn FEST

📍 Location: Ackerman Park Pavilion #1 in Elkton
🕟 Bidding Begins: 4:30 PM
🐕 Dog Walk Begins: 6:00 PM at the entrance of the Elkton Community Walking Path
🔔 Bidding ends 15 minutes after walk completion.

Our auction will be held in a silent auction format, so be sure to stop by the pavilion, check out all of the amazing donated items, and place your bids!

We will announce all winners once bidding ends. You do not have to be present to win, we will contact you if you won and are not present.
