So we have been asked a lot lately if we are putting on our Holiday Trail. Unfortunately, we will not be. Sponsorships last year were extraordinarily lower than we hoped. I personally am reeling from financial strain for the cost of putting something like this on. Turnout was extremely lower from years past and it’s just right to take the year off.
I am hoping, however, to put together an “Event Board” to try and drum up ideas, help, and anything else for 2025. If you, or anyone you know might be interested please let me know.

It is very foggy again tonight! Because of this I am lighting up a portion of the trail. People have said the lawn is like a beacon in bad weather so they know where they are at. Not open, just trying to help out. Merry Christmas!

Good evening everyone. For anyone that stops out tonight, Mother Nature took its toll on our display. I have done everything I can to try and fix everything. Long story short, it isn’t perfect. However in the garage we have letters to Santa, the polar express is playing, hot cocoa, candy canes, and decorate some cookies (while supplies last). I hope you all are enjoying your holiday season so far. Merry Christmas.

Good evening everyone, we will be open from 5:30-8:30 tonight. Make yourselves at home and grab some hot cocoa and take a stroll on the walking trail. I will be out and about setting up some minor extra decorations tonight. So if you see me feel free to say hi! Merry Christmas!!!

HOLY WIND!!!! Howdy folks! I hope it’s ok if we close tonight. I’m pretty sure we won’t be having too many visitors tonight with this wind AND we can save the decorations and this holiday cheer for tomorrow and fireworks night Saturday!!! I hope you all understand. Have a great night and I will update you all on our setup for Saturday process. So excited!!! 😊😊😊🎄🎄🎄

I’ve talked with some people asking if they would be coming out for our fireworks festivities. A few said they had a Christmas to go to. Why not bring the entire family out to end the evening with a BANG! it would surely make it very memorable, and also give an opportunity to give back to your community. It is disappointing that I have to post this, but to everyone, it is not ok to steal decorations from our display. We discovered that one of our inflatables had its support ropes cut and the bottom stake hooks as well with the inflatable gone. Giving the benefit of the doubt, we looked in a close proximity for the possiblity it blew away. Not finding it and seeing ALL FOUR ROPES CUT, it’s apparent that it was stolen. I can’t tell you all enough, we are not RICH people at all and these decorations are very expensive. We put on this display FUNDRAISER to raise money for local groups and for families to enjoy it. Please do not be a Scrooge and feel the need to steal decorations. You may think it’s just an inflatable but it does have an impact on people. I hope you all have Merry Christmas.

It is with deepest apologies that the “kids day” for Saturday, December 16th has been cancelled due to the cancellations of a few of our activities for the kids. However, there will still be a face painter at the evening event, prior to the fireworks. Virginia Dorsch will be doing face painting from 5:30pm-7:30pm. There will be Hot Cocoa, Cookies, Coloring, Letters to Santa and raffle items in the garage. There is a donation box in the garage, and also, a donation box by the road. Any amount of donation is very deeply appreciated . All donations, ticket sales and food sales go to this year’s following organizations:

Huron County Safe Place
Huron Youth Center
The daughter of Rachel Bronson

RAFFLE drawing at 7:30pm. Tickets will be sold inside the garage.

FIREWORKS will begin at 8:00pm.

Hot Dogs and Beverages for sale on site.

Come on out with your family and enjoy a night of lights, treats and fireworks!

***PLEASE SHARE!!!*** - Waking up this morning I heard the howling of the wind blowing down the chimney. The sun maybe out and it is warm, but when I seen this, I became nervous. With that being said, and considering FIREWORKS NIGHT IS ONE WEEK AWAY, I am going to have to close the trail for tonight. This is to prevent decoration loss, but also the safety and well-being of all you patrons. We will be open normal hours tomorrow night, and again thurs-sun 5:30-830 with FIREWORKS on the 16th. I do apologize if y’all planned on coming out tonight, but I hope you understand as well. We will see you tomorrow night and hopefully on fireworks night as well.
