We can best answer your questions via email so please refrain from asking any via messenger and posts. The Babylon Beautification Society is governed by an Executive Board consisting of volunteers who dedicate their time to the organization. Each year we organize several fundraising initiatives including our Annual Fair at Argyle Park. All funds we receive are used to provide beautification projects in Babylon Village and include holiday lights and decorations, trees and other plantings, as well as over 900 hanging flower baskets.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE TO VENDORS**

We have learned that a fraudulent email is being circulated to vendors claiming the canceled October 11 Annual Fair has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 18.

This email is NOT from the Babylon Beautification Society.

The 2026 Annual Fair remains canceled. There is no event on October 18, and we have made no announcement suggesting otherwise.

If you received this email, please disregard it. Do not reply, click any links, or provide any personal or payment information.

We communicate all official announcements about our events directly through the Babylon Beautification Society, our official website, and our Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Our 2026 Christmas Market vendor application will open on Friday, October 23. Please visit our website for more information.

October 11 Annual Fair – Canceled

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the October 11 Annual Fair due to the forecasted weather.

After two postponements and every effort to make the event possible, we are deeply saddened that we cannot reschedule again this year.

As the volunteer Executive Board of the Babylon Beautification Society, we are truly crestfallen. Planning begins each spring, and we dedicate hundreds of hours of our time, energy, and heart to making this event possible.

The Annual Fair is not only a celebration of our community but also one of our most important fundraisers, helping us continue our work to beautify and preserve the village we love.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mayor Mary E. Adams, the Village of Babylon, and everyone who helps make this event possible.

To our vendors, we are especially grateful for your patience, flexibility, loyalty, and understanding throughout this exceptionally challenging season.

To our community, the families, and the many visitors who look forward to this special tradition each year, thank you for your continued support.

We are incredibly proud of what this fair represents and deeply disappointed that we cannot share it with you this year.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2027.

Sign-ups are now open to participate in one of our favorite traditions: Holiday Lamppost Decorating!

Every year, over 1,000 community members come together to transform Babylon Village into a stunning holiday wonderland — and it all happens in just a few hours!

For a $45 donation, the Babylon Beautification Society provides tree roping, a bow, and twinkling lights for you and your family and friends to decorate a lamppost with. All you need to bring is a ladder and your holiday spirit!

Decorating Day is Sunday, November 29.

It’s festive, fun, and a Babylon tradition — we can’t wait to see you there!
