What if the music that has brought our community together for generations could continue for generations to come? ❤️🎶

This October, we’re launching Babylon Chorale Founders Day — October 15!

October 15 marks the anniversary of the day the Babylon Chorale was officially incorporated as a nonprofit. It’s a day to honor the vision of those who came before us, and to make sure their legacy continues.

Your support keeps the music alive. It helps us bring exceptional choral performances to our community, support emerging singers, collaborate with talented musicians and composers, and build a future worthy of the Chorale’s history.

And by moving our annual giving day to October, we can properly recognize the people who make it all possible - including our donors’ names in our December concert program.

❤️ Honor the past. Support the future. Keep the music singing.

Donation link is in the first comment. Please share far and wide!

Meet our new Liaison!

Teresa Joanne Figalora is proud to be a member of the Babylon Chorale. Her love for singing began at a young age and has remained an important part of her life ever since. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to sing with various groups and continues to share her passion for music as both a youth and adult choir member and as a Cantor at her local parish.

Professionally, Teresa has worked as a School Monitor/Aide at Seaford High School for the past three years, where she is assigned to the Music Department and supports both the band and chorus programs. Her interactions and communication with students and educators have strengthened her appreciation for music education and inspired her to pursue becoming a Certified Teacher Assistant in the future.

Outside of work and music, Teresa enjoys a variety of hobbies, including karaoke, nature walks, swimming, relaxing by the pool, reading, socializing with friends and family, singing, praying, helping others, playing mobile games, and listening to music. These activities help her stay active, connected, motivated, and inspired.

Teresa is honored to serve as the Babylon Chorale Liaison and is grateful to be part of such a talented and welcoming organization. She looks forward to continuing to share the joy of music with fellow Chorale members and the community.
