Fingers crossed we don't have a fire in the north fork of the San Gabriel River. There is no way out.

Also saw Snow Plants that can be found this time of the year.

Lots of changes coming to Crystal Lake campground. New fire pits, replacement of picnic tables.
Hopefully the new fire pits will put a stop to the rock fire rings that visitors insist on creating.

There are many jobs in the forest that our volunteers may undertake during a typical day of volunteering. Removing graffiti is satisfying when the job is completed , but much hard is needed to try to put the forest back the way it was.
