While Chief Hall’s tenure seemed way too short, his impact on Azle, particularly the police department was huge! He brought leadership and innovation to the police department. Congratulations on your retirement Chief.

It’s almost impossible to measure the impact Sergeant Bovea has over his career in Azle. Not just in the citizens whose lives he touched, but in the countless officers he’s mentored, supervised, and trained over the years. If you meet an officer today, there is a high probability some aspect of how that officer performs his job he learned from Sergeant Bovea. As that officer trains other new officers, that same information will be passed down again. This is the legacy Sergeant Bovea leaves behind.

As Sergeant Bovea moves on to this next chapter, we wish him nothing but the best. Well done sergeant.
