Aynor Pack 818 had their Pack Campout at Camp Coker this weekend. The scouts were able to explore all the grounds and do some fishing. Camp Coker was awesome and the scout family had an awesome time.

While at Camp Coker our Cub Scout were befriended by a visiting Troop from North Carolina. The pack was invited to Troop 356’s main camp fire where the troops put on skits, jokes, sing along songs, and sharing their experiences about their time in the troop.

The Cub Scouts were engaged, confident, brave, and willing to do something new thanks to Troop 356. This was a weekend to remember.

🎉What a day for Aynor Pack 818 Arrow of Light Scouts🎉

AOLs from Aynor Pack 818 completed their Into the Woods Adventure at Harbison State Forest put together by Indian Waters Council. A big THANK YOU to educators from the Forestry Commission for teaching all scouts that attended. Scouts gained knowledge through hand-on activities, being able to identify many species of trees, plants, and the roles they play in a forest’s life cycle. They also discovered some of the resources forests provide to people and the effects of wildfires on the forest.

On May 27, 2026, Aynor Pack 818 along with other packs and troops from the Florence area were proud to assist in placing American flags at the gravesites of our nation's veterans at Florence National Cemetery in preparation for Memorial Day.

This meaningful act of service gave our Scouts the opportunity to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. As each flag was carefully placed, our Scouts reflected on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who served.

We are proud of our Scouts for demonstrating respect, patriotism, and community service while helping preserve the true meaning of Memorial Day.
