💚 June is National Reunification Month 👪
This month, we celebrate the families, caregivers, and service providers who work together to help children safely remain with or return to their families whenever possible.
Many people know Windwood Farm Home for Children for our residential program serving boys who are healing from abuse, neglect, and trauma. But what many don't realize is that through Windwood Family Services, we are also helping strengthen families throughout the Tri-County community before a crisis leads to separation.
Our Family Resource Connection and Preservation Services (FRCPS) program provides individualized, family-centered support designed to help children, youth, and caregivers overcome challenges, build stability, and remain safely together. By connecting families with resources, guidance, and ongoing support, we help prevent out-of-home placements and reduce involvement with the child welfare system.
✨ More than 5,000 local children have remained safely with their families instead of entering protective custody over the past decade.
✨ In 2025 alone, Windwood's Family Resource Specialists served 95 families and 234 children.
✨ 100% of those families remained intact.
Every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in a safe, loving, and stable environment. During National Reunification Month, we honor the power of strengthening families, preserving connections, and creating brighter futures for children across our community
