The mission of People Caring for People is to foster community involvement and a sense of pride and volunteerism among the people of Avondale, Boone and the surrounding areas. P*P partners with the local schools to involve adults and children in improving the appearance of the community, preparing food and toy baskets, sponsoring an tree-lighting ceremony, and planning for a veterans community park
