Today, we celebrate more than your degrees—we celebrate your journey. Many of you are first-generation college students, pioneers in your families, carrying both the hopes of those before you and the responsibility of forging a new path.
As Hispanic scholars, your road was not always easy. There were moments when you may have felt out of place, unseen, or unsure if you truly belonged. But you proved something powerful: you do belong. You persevered, and you succeeded.
Along the way, mentorship guided you, professional development strengthened you, and the opportunity to attend college without financial burden gave you the space to focus, grow, and dream bigger. You honored those opportunities with your hard work and determination.
This achievement is not just yours—it belongs to your families, your communities, and everyone who supported you. And now, you carry the ability to change the future for those who will follow.
As you move forward, keep seeking growth, keep lifting others, and never forget the strength in your story. You are not only graduates—you are leaders, role models, and change makers!
