Did your phone buzz with an emergency alert Thursday night? Here’s why: Authorities issued a Blue Alert after identifying 33-year-old Alex James Barnett as a suspect in the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Arizona police recruit Carlos Ramirez.

⚠️ Barnett is wanted on a first-degree murder warrant and is considered armed and dangerous, while the Pima County Sheriff’s Department is seeking help identifying two other possible suspects.
