🌿 Actively Green Spotlight: Betty Ford Alpine Gardens

What does sustainability look like in an alpine environment? At Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, it’s built into everything they do.

From tracking water use and turning off water features during droughts to using a green roof that reduces energy use and water runoff, the Gardens put conservation into action.

Their commitment extends to events and programming, too, through composting, recycling, plant-based menus, and an annual goal to reduce electricity and water use by 5%.

Most importantly, the Gardens use education to connect people with alpine ecosystems and inspire a deeper appreciation for conservation in the place we call home.

The learning doesn’t stop when the sun goes down! 🌙🌲

On our two-day overnighters, students learn science from the land, cook meals for their friends, explore outside, and make memories alongside their classmates.

From days spent learning from the land to evenings together under the stars, there’s something special about stepping outside the classroom and experiencing it all together. 🏔️🥾🍳

Come spend a night learning with us!

🦖💚 ROAR! WE DISCOVERED DINOSAURS! 💚🦕

Tiny hands. Big imaginations. And a LOT of dinosaur discoveries! 🦴👣

This week at Nature Tykes, our little scientists went on a prehistoric adventure—exploring, wondering, playing, and imagining what it might have been like when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. 🌿🔎🦖

Because when you’re little, everything is worth wondering about. ✨

🌱 Nature exploration
🦕 Hands-on discovery
👣 Plenty of little adventures
💚 Fun for ages 6–35 months + their grown-ups

What will we discover next? 👀
