We wanted to take this last opportunity to revisit the facts and benefits of Bond Issue 14 and the impact this levy will have on our schools, our community and our kids.

Good Morning Avon -

As you may have noticed, there has been some discussion and division both on social media as well as protesting Issue 14 in public.

Support Avon Schools discussed early on that we would only be sharing Facts and Testimonials and Support and take the high road and not engage in any negativity. Our students deserve better than seeing people protest district improvements on Avon Local Schools property and throughout the city of Avon City.

We would rather spend our time with sharing some amazing accomplishments of our kids.

Our students have had incredible successes this weekend and we didn’t want to miss celebrating them!!

🎶💜👏🏻Our Band was in Awarded the highest rating possible, a 1 “Superior” Performance, at the OMEA State Finals!!

⚽️💛👏🏻Our Girls Soccer Team won Regionals and is heading to the Final Four!! First time in Avon history!!

📣💜👏🏻Our Cheerleaders have qualified for Nationals and are competing tomorrow for the SWC Championship!

🏃‍♂️ 💛👏🏻 Our Boys Cross Country team won districts. AND Nick Thompson qualified for and ran a personal record in the state meet!

🏃🏻‍♀️ 💜Our Girls Cross Country team won districts AND qualified for State and finished 12th in the State!! Shout Out to Kaitlyn Reese who has finished in the Top Ten for three years in the State!! Incredible!!

🏐 💛👏🏻 Our Volleyball team won Regionals and are heading into the Final Four!!! Another first in school history!!

🏈 💜👏🏻 Our Football team continues this week in Round Two of the State Playoffs.

💜💛 We would be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge the time and effort that our amazing coaches and directors put in with our students to make all of this possible. We are grateful for our teachers that support our students and cheer them on both in the classroom as well as their extracurriculars.

Way to go Avon, you make us very proud!! 💜💛
