🍳 We’re hiring! Youth Power is looking for a Culinary Club Coordinator to inspire middle school students through hands-on cooking, baking, and learning across four Eagle County schools.
If you’re passionate about culinary arts, working with youth, and creating engaging experiences that connect food with culture, creativity, and education, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

High-quality early learning, right in the neighborhood.

Our free Magic Bus mobile preschool brings licensed, bilingual, play-based learning to families across Eagle County, from Dotsero to Avon.

Magic Bus is the only mobile preschool with a Level 4 Colorado Shines quality rating, the highest rating in the state’s quality rating system.

Serving children ages 3–5 four days a week, the program supports social-emotional development, language, early literacy, and math skills through individualized instruction and play-based learning. Regular family conferences help ensure families are part of their child’s learning journey.

⚽📚 THE SEASON IS OFF TO AN INCREDIBLE START!
The new school year is here, and Youth Power’s School Year Programs are back in action! Our Middle School Academic Soccer program is bringing students together to grow, compete, and succeed both on the field and in the classroom.

Student-athletes build their soccer skills, strengthen teamwork and confidence, and stay committed to their academics by maintaining good grades. With practices twice a week and weekend games against other middle schools, there are plenty of opportunities to learn, compete, and have fun! 🔥🏆

We’re excited to see what this season has in store!

Inspired by the New York Philharmonic’s Very Young Composers program, this one-of-a-kind camp gives students the chance to create their own original musical composition with guidance from teaching artists and professional guest artists, including New York Philharmonic musicians.

DAVID HYDE

David Hyde is the Owner and President of Shaeffer Hyde Construction and a longtime supporter of the Vail Valley community. After living in the Valley for 20 years, David feels fortunate to call this community home and is passionate about giving back to the people and organizations that make it so special. Through his work, David is committed to craftsmanship, sustainability, mentorship, and creating opportunities for young people through apprenticeship programs and community involvement. He also serves on the Vail Valley Foundation Board of Directors, chairs the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater Committee and serves on the Vilar Performing Arts Center Committee. David enjoys supporting programs that benefit youth, education, the arts, and the broader community. When he is not working or volunteering, he enjoys skiing, spending time with family, and jamming with his band when time allows.

KELLYE O’KELLY

Kellye O’Kelly is the co-founder of Honed Studio, a Vail Valley–based interior design firm known for its warm, modern aesthetic and highly collaborative approach. Originally from Texas, her early exposure to the arts through dance and appreciation for architecture sparked a lifelong passion for thoughtful expression of her trade and bringing to life well-crafted spaces.

After earning her degree in interior design, Kellye built her career in the Vail Valley, working on high-end residential projects before launching Honed Studio. She partners closely with clients, architects, and builders to create homes that are both refined and deeply personal.

A dedicated mother and active member of the community, Kellye is passionate about supporting the arts and bringing people together through meaningful experiences.
