☀️ MEET THE NEW ENGLAND SUMMER LITTER ☀️

Found on the side of a road in Georgia and brought to a local shelter, this group was looking for a second chance when we got the call. Thankfully, they made the journey north and now their future is looking a whole lot brighter.

These squishy pittie babies are everything we love: happy, affectionate, goofy, and completely convinced that every person and every dog they meet is their new best friend. They are thriving in foster care and getting ready to start the best chapter of their lives.

⚓ Meet the crew:

🏖️ Nantucket (M)- ADOPTION PENDING
⛵ Newport (M)
🌊 Bar Harbor (F)
☀️ Martha (“Martha’s Vineyard”) (F)- ADOPTION PENDING

And the best part? They don’t just get to spend the summer in New England... They get to spend forever here.

These pups will be adoptable this Saturday, and we expect them to be very popular.

We often talk about Black Dog Syndrome—the phenomenon that black dogs tend to wait longer than their siblings to find forever homes.

But with this litter, it’s been just the opposite.

Their adorable black siblings have all been adopted, while the two sweet white pups are still patiently waiting for their families. Where are our white dog lovers at?

Meet Bumblebee 🐝🤍

This short little guy has the sweetest personality. In foster care, he’s shown just how calm, affectionate, and cuddly he is. Whether he’s snuggled up on the couch or meeting new friends, Bumblebee has a way of stealing hearts wherever he goes.

Bumblebee and his sister, Sweet Bee, have been thriving in their foster home alongside three adult dogs, a cat, and have met plenty of children. They’ve done wonderfully with every person and animal they’ve met. Now all they need are forever families!

Sweet Bee may only weigh 4 pounds right now, but she’s got that big dog in her 💛🐝

This confident girl is still waiting on her forever home! Are you ready to match her energy?

We may need to start doing bag checks before volunteers leave 🤭

Sweet Bee is tiny enough to fit right into a hoodie pocket, and we honestly can’t believe she is still waiting for her forever family.

Want to meet some of our available pups? A couple will be at the in Simsbury tomorrow, ready to charm everyone they meet 💛🐝

Welcome to the Rescue Club

These two dachshund (mix) puppies were literally thrown away because they had mange.

Mange. One of the most treatable conditions we see.

When we got the call asking if we could help, our answer was simple: of course.

Now they’re healthy, treated, growing back their hair, and apparently spending their days learning how to bop to 50 Cent. Life is now a celebration, after all.

Funny how quickly life can change when someone gives you a chance.
