Please join us and show your support at the 9/3 Avon Town Council meeting in the Town Hall Selectman’s Chamber. We expect to speak in the first 5 minutes - during Communications from Audience - so please arrive on time. You may also speak if you like.

We’ll be raising the topic of posting speed limit signage along the FCHT / RAIL TRAIL to encourage awareness and changed behavior that can camos the trail safer for all users.

Speed is becoming an increasing concern on the trail with many potential impacts to experience, usage and safety.

Help us demonstrate support so that a meaningful conversation about what residents want can take place with support from Town Leadership.

Grayson, an Avon High School Senior and Troop 274 Boy Scout just completed his 60 hours of volunteer time clearing invasive plants along the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail near Thompson Rd. Great Job! Thanks so much!
