The Who I Am Foundation is so excited to offer a dance class taught by Crissy Myers created especially for kids with special needs!

And while the class itself is for special-needs students ONLY, there will be plenty of opportunities for our entire community to come out, CHEER THEM ON and celebrate these amazing dancers! 🎉👏

🎄 AVON PARK CHRISTMAS PARADE
Watch for our dancers aboard The Who I Am Foundation’s Christmas Float!

🔔 JINGLE BELL 5K — Friday, December 11 at 7:00 PM - Come see them dancing and spreading Christmas cheer along the course! The race starts and finishes at the famous Jacaranda Hotel. Once again this year’s jingle bell 5K will have a special category for special needs children and adults at a special price just for them.

🌟 YEAR-END RECITAL — JANUARY
EVERYONE is invited to come cheer on our dancers as they take the stage and show us just how brightly they can SHINE! ✨ more details to be sent out later

Enrollment is very limited — ONLY 20 STUDENTS! Because of our size limitations, we are being careful to only include special needs individuals.

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS

August 17 – September 7

What an incredibly busy and rewarding summer it has been! ❤️

We are so grateful for our amazing Highlands County community. Because of your incredible generosity, more than 800 pairs of pajamas and over 100 pairs of shoes were donated to help foster care and at-risk children right here in our area. What an amazing difference this community continues to make!

As our local schools get settled into a new school year, we’re going to take a little break ourselves to rest, recharge, and get ready for all the fun and exciting things we have planned for the fall!

Our offices will be closed August 17 through September 7, and we will reopen September 8.

Even while our offices are closed, we’re still here if you need us. We will continue monitoring our emails and office phone calls throughout the break and will respond to any needs that arise.
