While some Jubilee events are already behind us, there are still several exciting opportunities to join the celebration of America's 250th Birthday right here in Avon Lake!

From the Great Avon Lake Bake-Off and Trivia Show-Down this weekend, to Summerfest, the Lake Erie Liberty 5K, Pickleball Tournament, Longest Beard Contest, and the grand finale Fireworks Celebration on July 3rd, there's something for all ages to enjoy.

🎣🐟 Fishing is Back at Walker Road Park—and There's Something for Everyone This Summer! 🐟🎣

Our popular Fishing with Friends program returns June 10 – July 25, giving kids ages 15 and under the chance to enjoy mornings by the pond, learn fishing skills, and make new friends.

We know many parents and guardians work during the day and aren't able to join us for our morning sessions. That's why we're excited to introduce Fishing with Family, running June 10 – July 23, giving families the opportunity to enjoy an evening by the water together.

Whether you're teaching your child how to cast a line, sharing stories by the pond, or simply enjoying a beautiful summer evening outdoors, Fishing with Family is all about creating memories that last.

Attention Avon Lake Kayakers!! Stop looking at that beautiful kayak or paddle board sitting in the garage and keep it right on the shore of Lake Erie! The Avon Lake Boat Club currently has rack openings for paddle boards and kayaks. Racks are $250 for the season. More information is available at avonlakeboatclub.com See you on the water!
