This afternoon come on out to the ALHS Memorial Stadium to cheer on our boys lacrosse team and support Veterans Appreciation Day!

This Saturday, May 9 is Veterans Appreciation Day at the Boys Varsity Lacrosse game vs. Highland High School. Join the Shoremen in honoring our Veterans. There will be a special Colorguard Presentation during the National Anthem as well as a Recognition Ceremony at halftime.

The Avon Lake Athletic Boosters are honored to support the Dylan Veselic Memorial Fund.

Dylan Veselic, a Bay Village sophomore defenseman, tragically passed away in May 2025 after being accidentally struck during play. In his memory, the Bay Village Education Foundation established the Dylan Veselic Memorial Lacrosse Scholarship Fund to celebrate his life, legacy, and love of the game.

This Sunday, April 26, the community will come together for Play for Dylan Community Fest, a special event honoring Dylan and supporting this meaningful scholarship.
