Last Tuesday, we were able to join our friends at and to distribute food to 150 local families during their mobile food pantry distribution.

We are grateful to have such solid community partners with a shared investment in supporting our neighbors in need.

Special thanks to Lisette Means, Kristin Acton and their Social Work team for all of their efforts in coordinating this distribution! Thanks also to CRS Board Member and her husband, Bryan, for volunteering!

Earlier this week, we were blessed to have members of the New Westsiders group in our pantry volunteering. They weighed, dated and sorted items donated through a recent food drive.

We are grateful for the generosity of so many in our community!

A huge THANK YOU to Trevor Miller and for their incredible generosity and support of CRS!

When one of our pantry refrigerators recently stopped working, we reached out to Lindsey Duke, who has volunteered in our pantry with her two boys and works for Brady 3 Custom Homes, to see if they might have a used refrigerator available from a renovation project. Within minutes, Lindsey called back with amazing news: Brady 3 wanted to purchase and donate a brand-new refrigerator to our pantry!

That refrigerator is now installed and already helping us serve the families and individuals who rely on our pantry.

We are so grateful to Trevor, Lindsey, and the entire Brady 3 team for stepping up so quickly to meet a critical need. Your generosity ensures that we can continue to serve our neighbors in need.

Our new neighbors, , have created a special refresher drink to benefit CRS. $1 from every one of these drinks sold will be donated to our pantry in support of the neighbors we serve. We can confirm that the drink is delicious!

We love seeing people use their influence to expand the good and support others in our community. ❤️

Last Thursday, a local business networking group turned their event into an opportunity to give back by encouraging donations for CRS. Their efforts resulted in a trunk load of non-perishable food items for local families in need!

This past Saturday hosted a free grill out for their customers and invited CRS to table and share about our mission with those who swing by. They particularly wanted their senior customers to learn about CRS and what services we provide.

We are grateful for that opportunity and to our Board President and Board Member, Jim Wenske for volunteering their time and representing CRS so well!

E&H Home Hardware hosts these grill outs for Father’s Day and other long weekend Saturday’s. Keep your eyes open because their burgers and hot dogs were delicious (and so was their candied bacon! 🤤)!

In observance of Memorial Day, our office and pantry will be closed as we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We will reopen during normal business hours tomorrow, May 26.

Members of our Board volunteered their time this morning to hand out awards at the Bendix Eagle Run through .oh !

We’re grateful not only for our Board Members who continue to give back, but also for the incredible support the Eagle Run organizers have shown CRS over the years.
