Quack Off doesn’t run itself. It runs because people keep signing up, knowing how long the day can be and how much work goes into it. They take assignments, solve problems, and keep things moving when plans change.

To the volunteers who show up early, stay late, and take on multiple jobs. Our firefighters’ family members, our local Avoca Cemetery Board, firefighter friends from surrounding departments, Cass County Behind the Badge, and many others, all stepping in where needed, no questions asked.

We can't thank them enough! That level of commitment is what makes this event possible year after year, and it does not go unnoticed.

There are certain things that are absolute necessities for Quack Off to function. We cannot just wing it.

So we want to recognize and thank the businesses who provide the essentials that allow us to host this event. Little Sprague Game Birds for the ducks themselves, Linkon Logs Portables for the porta-potties, Easter & Associates, Inc. for the auction trailer/announcing booth, Small Town Crafts by Ranae for the trophy cups, J&M Fencing for finishing the fencing around the track earlier this year, Erin Beth Designs for the shirts, Cass County EMS for providing medical standby, and Cass County Sheriff's Office - NE and Cass County Emergency Management Agency for security standby and the occasional assistance with vehicle lock outs!

We’re beyond grateful for the support and proud to work with businesses that show up for our event and our community, and make sure everyone has a quacktastic time!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Quack Off wouldn’t have made as big of a splash without the incredible businesses that stepped up to support our race this year. Your generosity, community spirit, and willingness to get a little quacky with us help keep this long-standing tradition afloat.

Sending a huge THANK YOU to Bond Farms Seeds, WW Express Lane, Freedom Tint, Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home, Granneman Agency, Inc, J&M Fencing, Keckler Oil, Lubben Veterinary Services, Meeske Auto, Misty Clean, Nielsen Trucking, Staack Furniture, The Bliss Barn at Sherwood Forest, The Hangout, The Otoe Spur Bar & Grill, TreeBeard Tree Service LLC, and Lincoln Sport Parachute Club for all of their support this year!

Thank you for believing in our event, supporting our department, and helping us keep the ducks in a row. We’re beyond grateful for each and every one of you!
