Farmer's Market Sat 6 Apr 2024, 10-1, at 12728 FM 729 Avinger, (old fire station). we have many plants to choose from. Tomato, bell pepper(green, red, orange), jalapenos, purple pole beans, blue lake bean sprouts and squash. Yellow/purple Iris bulbs, petunias, rose vine, geraniums, kalanchoes, and Easter lilies, and a few hydrangeas. Baked goods are rhubarb, apple, peach, pecan and kool aid pies. Peanut butter cookies, banana bread, banana bread bars, and homemade white bread. FRESH EGGS at $3 a dozen.
Our Thrift shop will be open 10-2. We will have men and ladies shorts for $2. Kids clothes are always 50 cents. Hardcover books are 50 cents and paperbacks 25 cents. If you enjoy puzzles we have them ranging from 300 to 1000 for $1.
Stop by for a visit and have a hot dog, chips, and soda for $4.

Start your day off with an “All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast”!
Then mosey on to the Farmers Market and stop in to Helping Hands Thrift Store. All of these venues help support our local men and women at Mims VFD Fire and EMS.

First I want to THANK the Mims VFD & EMS Ladies Auxiliary for the wonderful fish dinner fundraiser. Hats off to all of the cooks and volunteers that helped to make this event happen. Also, I want to THANK you, the surrounding community, that showed up to help support our local VFD and EMS. Again, my sincerest thanks for your continued support!
