We are so excited down here at Post 240! Katie of KATIE'S KREATIONS is doing a mural for us. We can't wait until it is done! It is going beautifully so far!❤️🇺🇲

We had a solemn yet beautiful service to honor and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. The ceremony was wrapped up with a three-volley salute by the Honor Guard, which included members from all over Northeast Indiana and Taps played by Nick Dressler ,then final words of inspiration by our Commander Donald Papai. The Auxiliary Ladies then served up a fantastic luncheon. It was a great day of remembrance for our fallen.

If you are having a cookout or family gathering today, I urge you to take time for a moment of silence (nationally, it is 1 minute of silence at 3p) to honor and remember the fallen who made our freedom possible. It is also a great opportunity to teach the youth that are present about the meaning of today and how people sacrificed themselves for the future of others they would never meet or know. God Bless, and NEVER FORGET ❤️🇺🇲
