Thanks to the generosity and passion of our community during this summer’s Six Days of Giving for Pediatric Brain Tumor Research, Kelsey’s Promise Foundation is proud to make a $10,000 gift to CONNECT (Collaborative Network of Neuro-Oncology Clinical Trials).

This gift—made possible entirely by you—directly supports the groundbreaking work led by Dr. Maryam Fouladi and the dedicated CONNECT team. Their mission is one that resonates deeply with us:

About CONNECT:
CONNECT is an international network of pediatric cancer centers working collaboratively to improve outcomes for children facing the most high-risk brain tumors, including DIPG, high-grade gliomas, embryonal tumors, medulloblastoma, and more. Learn more here.

Why This Matters:
CONNECT fills a critical gap in pediatric neuro-oncology by rapidly evaluating combination therapies that could improve survival and quality of life for children with newly diagnosed or recurrent high-risk brain tumors. Once shown to be safe and effective, these therapies can move swiftly into larger trials—bringing hope closer, faster.

Ruck Challenge 2025–24 hours, 24 miles, almost $2,000 raised—money that will go a long way to helping pediatric brain tumor patients and their families at the Melodies Center. 💙Glioblastoma has a five year survival rate of 6.8%. That percentage has stayed stagnant for so long. Research is critical to find the breakthroughs patients and families need to improve such a devastating outcome.
