Avalon Home and Land Owners Association Avalon Home and Land Owners Association is a group of community-oriented property owners.

Our purpose is to promote and enhance the environmental, economic and social values of property ownership in the Borough of Avalon, NJ. In order to serve the Avalon community, AHLOA:

- Maintains regular communications with Borough officials in order to best represent our member’s collective interests;

- Maintains regular communications with our members via this website, our page

, and optionally via regular e-mails or quarterly newsletters based on member election;

- Reports regularly to AHLOA members in-person at meetings held in Avalon on the 2nd Saturday of each month;

- Encourages suggestions from and dialogue with our members on current issues and topics of interest, and;

- Contributes financially to special projects and programs that enhance the overall welfare of Avalon property owners. Membership is open to all persons owning property in the Borough of Avalon. Your enrollment is vital to AHLOA, the Borough of Avalon, your fellow property owners and the local community. We look forward to working with and representing you for many years to come. Thank you to everyone who joined us for AHLOA’s Community Open House on Saturday!
We extend our sincere appreciation to Avalon Mayor John McCorristin, Council President Barbara Juzaitis, Councilman Chet Johnson and Borough Administrator Scott Wahl for taking the time to attend and engage with residents. We also thank the Borough departments, community organizations and local partners who participated and helped make the event such a success.
The morning provided a wonderful opportunity for neighbors, residents and visitors to connect, learn more about community initiatives and meet the people who help make such a special place. A special highlight was this year’s Kids Korner, where children and families enjoyed interactive activities, games, crafts and giveaways.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a fun, informative and meaningful community gathering. We look forward to seeing you at future AHLOA events!

Long Live Rock! 🎸

Join AHLOA and the Avalon Free Public Library for the first Surfside Park Outdoor Concert of the summer as part of the Spring Into Summer program! The concert takes place on Saturday, June 13 at 6:00 PM - after our Community Open House in the morning!

Enjoy a classic rock performance by the Rock N’ Roll Collective, a talented teen band made up of aspiring young musicians who perform across the U.S. and internationally.

Bring your chairs, kids and grandkids for a fun family evening of live music by a band of young performers. If the weather does not cooperate, the concert will move indoors to Community Hall.

Happening THIS SATURDAY! 📆
AHLOA’s Community Open House & Kids Korner is just days away – join us on Saturday, June 13 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Community Hall for a fun and informative morning for the whole family!
Come enjoy coffee and light refreshments while connecting with neighbors and meeting Avalon representatives, including members of Council, Borough departments, Administrator Scott Wahl, representatives from The Wetlands Institute and more.
We’re also excited to welcome meteorologist Joe Martucci: Meteorologist, the official meteorologist for the Borough of , who will be showcasing a new flood dashboard he created for Avalon OEM to help improve storm alerting and emergency messaging for the community.
Families are encouraged to stop by and enjoy the Kids Korner featuring games, crafts, interactive activities and giveaways.

: AHLOA’s Community Open House & Kids Korner is coming up on Saturday, June 13 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Community Hall!
Families are especially encouraged to stop by and enjoy the Kids Korner, featuring interactive activities, games, crafts and giveaways hosted by the Avalon Free Public Library, Avalon NJ Police Department, Avalon Volunteer Fire Department and AHLOA. There will be plenty to keep kids entertained while parents and grandparents enjoy coffee, refreshments and community conversation.
Whether you’re a longtime resident, summer visitor or new to town, this is a great event for all ages. Stop by anytime – we hope to see you there!

Save the Date for AHLOA’s Community Open House & Kids Korner! 📆

AHLOA members, non-members, friends, neighbors and families are invited to attend our Avalon Community Open House on Saturday, June 13, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Community Hall.

Enjoy coffee and light refreshments while meeting Avalon representatives, including members of Council and Borough departments, Administrator Scott Wahl and representatives from The Wetlands Institute. Plus, Avalon Rescue Squad Chief Kevin Scarpa will assist residents with signing up for the new “Reverse 911.”

This is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, learn more about community happenings and celebrate all that makes such a wonderful place!
