Douglas County Community Foundation members, Dick Salgado, Diana Middleton and Janice Lorrain presented a check for $2000.00 to the Ava Lions Club. The money will be used by the Lions Club for diabetes education and prevention. This money was made possible by a Rural Ozarks Health Initiative grant. Accepting the check are Ava Lions Club members Bob Sorensen, Richard Sturgeon, Bob Sellers and Darlene Sorensen. Taking the photo was Lion Rosanna Proctor.
