We haven’t raised a dime in TEN DAYS! It kills me to see how many messages we get a week and there is absolutely NOTHING I can do to help, I almost never even look at them anymore because I already know I can’t help. There’s only like six of us that care enough to keep SS going. If I’m being totally honest, I’m tired of spending the majority of my pay check keeping animals fed, fixed, vaccinated. My only daughter graduated college and didn’t even get a gift from us because we just don’t have it to give because unfortunately I have started a non profit in a county that does not really care about the animals and overpopulation. I don’t care if you think I’m being whiney or unprofessional, you can absolutely take over SS if you think you can do this! Because I’m tired! I’m frustrated!
I always try to tell myself this is where God wants me so hush and do what you’re led to do. I frequently say “my treasures are in heaven”, and I sincerely believe this is true! But it is so hard to not be bitter and negative some days. I don’t post most of the stuff I do because the people in need of help don’t need to see their unfortunate situation in a Facebook post! I feel like you do what God leads you to do and you don’t look for applause or recognition for doing it…. Or it doesn’t count as an act of kindness. Uggghhh! Sorry, rant over!
