We had the BEST time at our first homeschool club meeting Tuesday! 💚

We hiked through the woods, enjoyed a fun scavenger hunt, and spent some time planning for the year ahead. It was such a great time connecting, learning, and making memories together!!

We can’t wait to see everyone again next month on October 6th!🍂

Something exciting is hatching! Alabama Extension is launching new Facebook and Instagram pages dedicated to all things backyard poultry.
Whether you already have a flock or are planning to start one, follow along for research-based information to help you care for healthy, productive birds.

To celebrate the launch and National Chicken Month, we’re hosting a Backyard Poultry Photo Contest! Share a photo of your favorite hen, prized rooster or entire backyard flock for a chance to win.

How to enter:

Two winners will be selected:
-Judges’ Choice

Alabama 4-H members ages 9-18 are invited to participate in the return of the state-wide riding contest, Happy Trails Horseback Riding. Advance through riding challenges over the course of 10 months and earn recognition for your time in the saddle! Registration for the 2026-2027 Alabama 4-H Happy Trails Horseback Riding Program has been extended through September 14th!

A fun game, friends, an educational
mini-lesson, pizza, planning for the club year, and ice cream sundaes - what better way to kick of the year for Autauga County 4-H Livestock Club!
