SOL are vocal advocates for the less fortunate. We supply new shoes/socks to disadvantaged children.

Soles of Luv is a non-profit organization funded by generous donors and corporate sponsorships. Our mission is simple, to supply new shoes and socks to the children of the Mahoning Valley.

A Boardman Intermediate school parent reached out to
Maggie Burton
School Counselor, to ask if Soles of Luv could fit her children with some new shoes. I fit her son and daughter today and they had BIG smiles as they left with their new shoes/socks!!

When Soles of Luv first began, we serviced 2 schools, Southside Academy and Williamson Elementary. Last week we made our first visit to SouthRange Elementary bringing the total schools we service to 45 ( listed on our website). I had hoped as time went on the numbers would decrease, but the numbers and needs grow with every year. We are so grateful to all our donors, we could never do this without you. 💕Especially our monthly donors that have supported our mission for many years. 💕

19 excited boys and girls at Boardman School received their new shoes and socks today! Sissy, Linda and I were so happy to be a part of making them smile!😊

Linda, Sissy and I visited West Blvd Elementary today to size 13 children. We are catching up for all the school delays and closings due to these frigid temperatures!! Heat wave today 50 degrees!😊
We will return next week to fit them with their new shoes! We went directly to warehouse where Sissy and Linda filled their backpacks with 6 pairs of socks and a pair of new shoes and a hat!

Linda, Sissy and I visited Taft Elementary School, we made 20 pairs of “Happy” feet today. The children had been waiting for a couple weeks for their new shoes since the schools were closed due to weather related school closings.
A few of the children did not have any socks on today in 21 degree temperatures!!! Their little feet were cold and wet.
It is always a good day when we can make their faces light up after receiving their shoes and socks.
