Everyone welcome Scooby to the Silver Fur K9 pack. He is a 13 yr old old Dachshund. Neutered and well behaved. Today was his vet appointment with Dr Veale and the wonderful staff at Country Doctors Veterinary Clinic. He received a physical, UTD vaccines, bloodwork and nail trim. He had a previous diagnosis of IVDD which is common in his breed and a slight heart murmur. Previous owner did laser therapy a few yrs ago and it seemed to help. He shows no signs of current discomfort. Scooby does have potential adopters . We will keep everyone updated.

2026 Open House had beautiful weather, delicious food and amazing supporters. Thank you to everyone who donated to our LARGE raffle. Thank you to everyone who attended and brought your pups for a visit. Nice seeing our previous rescue pups. Thank you to the vendors , band and all volunteers. Chris and I feel blessed and the Silver Fur K9 Rescue & Retirement dogs appreciate you!

So grateful for all the wonderful supporters. We raised $8k this year and are looking forward to some maintenance repairs and medical procedures for the rescue dogs with funds raised. We couldn't do what we do without everyone.
