🗑️ 4,494 pounds of trash and debris removed.
👫 634 volunteers.
💧 23 dive and park cleanup sites.

Thank you to everyone who made the 32nd Annual Lake Travis Cleanup possible!

As one of Central Texas’ primary drinking water reservoirs, Lake Travis helps supply clean, reliable water to millions of Texans. By removing thousands of pounds of trash and debris from the lake and surrounding Travis County Parks, Sunday’s volunteers helped protect this critical water supply and the communities that depend on it every day.

The Lake Travis Cleanup was made possible by an incredible community of partners and sponsors. Thank you for helping us protect and preserve Lake Travis and the Texas Colorado River:
Lead Sponsor: H-E-B
Lake Travis Cleanup Partners: The American Legion , Aquaholics Watercraft Rental , Beach Front , Bin Dumped Dumpster Rental , Dive World Austin , Dive Shop San Marcos , Flagship Dock Services , Robert Laketravisscuba Weiss , Scubaland Adventures , Josh Smith 🌵 , TEXAS STATE GUARD , Tom's Dive & Swim , Village of Volente, and VIP Tour Boats
River Ally: Duck Camp

And a special thank you to Travis County Environmental Quality and Travis County Parks for partnering with Colorado River Alliance to host this annual cleanup and for their continued commitment to the Texas Colorado River. 💧

Together, we’re caring for Lake Travis and the Texas Colorado River. 💧

$408,600 raised for the Texas Colorado River! 💙

Thank you to everyone who made Cocktails for the Colorado 2026 such an unforgettable evening. Together we raised $408,600 to support Colorado River Alliance’s mission and inspire the next generation of river heroes.

Your generosity will support our Youth Environmental Stewardship (YES!) programs, cleanup events, and collaborative efforts throughout the Colorado River Basin, as well as provide thousands of young Texans with more “aha” moments that turn curiosity into a lifetime of caring for our River.

A special thank you to our sponsors, Gala Committee, and Gala Chairs Katherine and Bryan Beckworth, and of course, congratulations to our 2026 John Lay River Hero Honoree, Phil Wilson!

We are so grateful to have you in our River community ✨

Special congratulations to our All Summer Long Raffle winners! 🎉

Just one week to go!

The countdown is on for the 32nd Annual Lake Travis Cleanup.

Whether you're picking up litter along the shoreline, collecting underwater debris with a dive team (as a certified diver), or helping monitor water quality, every volunteer is helping protect the Texas Colorado River.

If you've been waiting for a sign to register, this is it.

We'll see you at the lake!

The river brings us together, and this year we're creating a celebration worthy of its beauty. 💙

We can’t wait to gather with our guests on the lawn of the Four Seasons Hotel Austin for a refreshed Cocktails for the Colorado, featuring an elegant open-air setting, string lights, vibrant florals, and an inspiring evening honoring 2026 River Hero Phil Wilson.

Together, we'll celebrate the Texas Colorado River and raise vital funding for Colorado River Alliance programs that connect thousands of students each year with hands-on STEM education, helping create the next generation of River Heroes.

✨ While this year's event is officially sold out, you can still be part of the impact. A gift today creates “aha” moments when curiosity becomes understanding; when a student realizes that the river is not just a distant natural resource, but the source of their drinking water, the foundation of their community, and an essential part of their future. Thank you for joining us to inspire the next generation of river heroes.

Support the river. Invest in future stewards. Donate today.
