At the 33rd annual gala on April 17, guests gave a record-breaking $56,781 through the Make-a-Difference (MAD) Drive, the largest funding source for Hard Hats, helping provide helmets in 2027.

The largest contribution during Texas Medical Association Foundation’s celebration came from Dallas pediatric cardiologist Lee Ann Pearse, MD, who gave $7,000 to invest in “little Texans.”

McGovern Champion of Health Award: Free World Bound, operated by Prism Health North Texas, and Amy's House of Temple.

TMA Foundation’s 33rd annual gala made waves with its Beach Party! theme, welcoming more than 475 attendees, including a strong showing from the Corpus Christi/Nueces County community. The evening also set a new record for sponsorship support.

Attendees enthusiastically danced, engaged in a limbo contest, and raised money for worthy programs, such as Hard Hats for Little Heads, while embracing the aloha spirit. Thank you to everyone who helped make the night so memorable. Your support makes a meaningful impact and helps fund important health initiatives for Texans.
