Members of the Austin Young Chamber are generally between the ages of 21 and 40. Meet Maya Walker-Reich, a 2026 FAVE Awards finalist in the ChangeMaker: For-Profit Leader category! 💚

Beyond her work at McKee Media, Maya is passionate about creating spaces where women can connect, grow, and support one another. Through her leadership with Austin Women in Technology and Women Communicators of Austin, she's helping build meaningful connections and empower women navigating their careers.

Her commitment to community doesn't stop there! Maya also fosters rescue dogs and advocates for Austin's shelter animals, working to help more pets find their forever homes. 🐾

Originally from New York City, Maya has found something special in Austin: a genuine sense of belonging.

Meet College Possible Texas , a 2026 FAVE Awards finalist in the Community Connector category! 💚

Through the support of dedicated AmeriCorps coaches, College Possible Texas helps students navigate their journey from high school through college graduation, at no cost to students or families.

Their belief? Austin’s next generation of leaders needs more people in their corner. Mentors who believe in them, help them see what’s possible, and show up for every milestone.

Because when more Austin students succeed, our entire community grows stronger.
