Otra hermosa tradición de Webb Middle School que nos recuerda lo importante que es reconocer a quienes caminan junto a nuestros estudiantes en cada etapa de sus vidas.
Hoy quiero hacer un reconocimiento muy especial a todos esos padres de familia que trabajan sin descanso para que a sus hijos no les falte nada. A esos papás, mamás, tíos, hermanos, padrinos, abuelos y seres queridos que pasan largas horas trabajando, haciendo sacrificios silenciosos y enfrentando desafíos diarios para brindarles un mejor futuro a quienes más aman.
Gracias por tomarse el tiempo para estar presentes en momentos como estos, porque esos momentos dejan huellas que duran toda la vida. Para un estudiante, ver a su padre, a su abuelo, a su padrino o a cualquier ser querido sentado entre el público, acompañándolo y celebrando sus logros, es un regalo invaluable. Son recuerdos que permanecerán en su corazón mucho después de que termine el año escolar.
También esperamos que Webb continúe con esta hermosa tradición que les permite a los estudiantes expresar su gratitud a las personas que han sido una parte importante de su camino. Ver a nuestros jóvenes reconocer públicamente a quienes los han apoyado, alentado y acompañado durante todo el año es algo verdaderamente especial.
Y qué hermoso es que también tengan la oportunidad de agradecer a esos maestros que estuvieron ahí cada día, ofreciendo no solo conocimientos, sino también paciencia, comprensión, ánimo y apoyo. A esos educadores que se preocupan por el bienestar de sus estudiantes en todos los aspectos de sus vidas, gracias por marcar una diferencia que muchas veces va mucho más allá de las aulas.
Momentos como estos nos recuerdan que educar es un esfuerzo compartido entre familias, maestros y comunidad. Y cuando todos caminamos juntos, nuestros estudiantes florecen.
¡Qué bonita tradición! Una tradición que celebra el amor, el sacrificio, la gratitud y el poder de una comunidad que cree en sus niños y en su futuro.
Another beautiful tradition at Webb Middle School that reminds us how important it is to recognize those who walk alongside our students every step of the way.
Today, I would like to give a very special recognition to all the parents and family members who work tirelessly to make sure their loved ones have everything they need. To the fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts, siblings, godparents, grandparents, and caregivers who spend long hours working, making sacrifices, and facing daily challenges to provide a better future for the children they love so deeply—thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to be present during moments like these, because these are the moments that leave a lasting impact on a student's life. For a child, seeing their father, grandfather, godparent, sibling, or another loved one sitting in the audience, celebrating their achievements and sharing in their success, is a priceless gift. Those memories will stay with them long after the school year has ended.
We also hope that Webb continues this beautiful tradition that gives students the opportunity to express gratitude to the people who have helped shape their journey. Watching our students publicly recognize those who have encouraged them, supported them, and believed in them throughout the year is truly something special.
And how wonderful it is that they are also given the chance to thank those teachers who were there for them every single day. Teachers who provide not only education, but also patience, understanding, encouragement, and support. To the educators who genuinely care about the well-being of their students in every aspect of their lives, thank you for making a difference that extends far beyond the classroom walls.
Moments like these remind us that education is a shared effort between families, teachers, and the community. When we come together with a common purpose, our students thrive.
