Last weekend, DOLE Dream Out Loud Experience partnered once again with Tomorrow’s Promise Foundation for their annual Spring Break camping trip, where we helped take 60 inner-city youth camping at Buescher State Park. ☀️🎣🧭🗺⛺️🏞🏕🏈🏐🏊🏾‍♂️🌭🍔

With one of our biggest groups yet, we got to partake in several different activities that connected our youth with nature and the outdoors. These trips continue to serve as fundamental building blocks for their development and life choices. Each one, teach one.

We’re grateful to continue this tradition and thankful to everyone who helped make the weekend a success!

Spring Break Kickball was a whole vibe! 🏐🦵🏾🏃🏾‍♂️💨

Big shoutout to DOLE Dream Out Loud Experience, ATX Peace, and Tomorrow’s Promise Foundation for teaming up with the Givens Park staff to make it happen. We had close to 40 youth show up, compete, eat, laugh, and enjoy a fun-filled day at Givens Park.

Events like this remind us how powerful it is to show up for our youth and build real connections. Community was definitely in full effect! 💪🏾🫶🏾💯

I would like to give a huge thank you to the The Gamma Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Last Saturday Alpha Phi Alpha hosted their 2nd Annual Alpha Scholarship Brunch. AΦA recognized Rising Young Scholars & presented Community Distinguished Impact Awards, one of which I was honored to receive.

I’m extremely thankful to be acknowledged by Alpha Phi Alpha, but even more thankful for the relationship my family has built with this brotherhood over the last few years. The mentorship and guidance my son has received from guys like Dwight Lawson, Ronzelle Fort Jr., and Gregory Harrington has been big for him. The support you all have shown me has meant a lot as well.

I can honestly say that, because of AΦA and their LDI program, Lil Reese was exposed to what would become his choice of Texas Southern University to further his education while gaining an unforgettable experience.

Tomorrow’s Promise Foundation 2025 Fall Camping Trip was a success. Last weekend we took 34 inner city youth camping at Blanco State Park.

Our youth got to fish, swim, and play outdoor sports while also learning how to camp. They we're able to participate in team building exercises and group circles to discuss some of the challenges they face has youth and how to navigate them.

Bill Wallace thank you for allowing DOLE Dream Out Loud Experience to tag along for the fun. S/O to everyone who helped make this camping trip possible.
